BE MY SANTA

Image
Am counting days to my born-day and I remember the last birthday party I had was when I was in class three. When I was a kid, we lived in Ngumo where kids used to hold big birthday parties with bouncing castles and barbecue and all that fancy stuff you watch in movies used to be real in my estate. You know those spoilt brats who you'll find basically anything in their house from play-station (during that era I mean around 2002,2003) to backyard swimming pools and would always nyima you toys mkicheza 'kalongolongo'. My mum was however one of a kind, she made a habbit of always holding us little birthday parties with big home backed cakes which only included family members. I and my sisters were always super excited especially if  you got a surprise visit from our favorite aunty, Aunty Akinyi who used to live in Tz those days. So on my eighth birthday mum was sick during that time and i was so downcast because I knew that year round my day will be gone without a celebratio...

FOR YOU, MY LOVE

Image
A drop of ray, U light up my day, To lead my way, Along the moonlight bay, Your love is like a slay, That drives me crazy, Here is my heart to play, Don't break it please, This I pray. The part of me that you are, My world... My heart... My Soul, In our dazzling maze, And the minutes we have, Regret is a never, From deep down within, This is my vow. When I say I love you, Believe this is true, When I say forever, Know I'll never leave you, When I say goodbye, Promise you won't cry, Because the day I'll be saying that, Will be the day I die.

so its one of those weekends and me and my gals have chochana'ad' to turn up. Definitely we have to keep the dressing elegant and simple as we dash out, like a normal girls night out, a little bit of dancing and boozing as we pass the night away. Out of the blues a waitress is at our table asking me what am taking, so I'm a little bit confused i had already placed my order and was simply enjoying it and I'm like what is she insinuating before Jane reminds me it must be from some secret admirer. So we go for baileys and we all enjoy it. Money has a way of making people think they can get basically anything.  as the night progresses i notice some guy staring so i look back and smile as i enjoy the music which was so good. the gaze is constant and this becomes a bit bizarre, it made me uncomfortable so i walk to his table and ask whats up with the gazing. its like the guy was waiting for an opening, so he starts blubbering and the only thing that gets my attention ...
